Wesleyan's Javanese Gamelan ensemble, under the direction of University Professor of Music Harjito and Winslow-Kaplan Professor of Music Sumarsam, presents the classical music and dance of Central Java. The concert will include a prelude by the Indonesian Connecticut Community Gamelan Ensemble, directed by Professor Harjito.
